Conditions & Participants
We had lovely weather for our last parkrun in November. Nine participants came out to join us for this Thanksgiving weekend parkrun. We had one newcomer and tourist - David. He’s from Alabama, but is a self-proclaimed “Vol for Life.” It was great to meet you and we hope we did a proper job of introducing you to parkrun.
This week was marked by our first two parkrunners across the line, Adam and Amanda, both running personal bests in addition to taking home first male and female finishers. Adam ran 43 seconds faster than his last parkrun to finish in 23:44. Amanda took a minute and eighteen seconds off her previous best time. This was also her 23rd parkrun finish (her 25 milestone is around the corner!) and her first time making the first finishers list. Nicely done both!
Complete results from this week’s parkrun can be found here. If you have never been to a parkrun but are considering it, give us a try. All you need to do is register for a personalized barcode and be sure to bring a copy (digital or printed) along with you. And don’t worry, registration is free and always will be!

We are back next week at 9am! Don’t forget to register and don’t forget your barcode . . .
Since launching on October 26 2019, Third Creek Greenway parkrun has had 304 individual finishers and 55 individuals volunteering. Note that we’re getting close to a benchmark event - 100 parkruns! Assuming no cancellations due to weather, we’ll celebrate this accomplishment on January 28th.
