The event on September 7th 2019 will be the last at Moberly until further notice.

Run report #61

Our parkrun day started off very wet and rainy. David, our ED's son, completed his very first parkrun. YAY David!

We also had a couple of extremely disinterested observers who seemed to enjoy the rain way more than we did!

May the Fourth Bark With You!

May fourth was our unofficial barkrunner day at Moberly parkrun. Like many events across the country, we particularly invited our furrier friends to come bring their humans for a lovely walk or run in the park. Two pups, Cooper and Lexie, joined us!

While the start was chilly, a number of our two-legged parkrunners were shedding layers as they warmed up under the bright shining sun.

Hope to see you next week!

Run Report #56

Happy first weekend of Spring parkrun!
The Moberly parkrunners were very pleased that the days are finally getting longer and warm temperatures are coming. It was still chilly this morning with a breeze but no sign of rain, ice, or snow so ideal conditions to volunteer, walk, or run. We were glad to see Coach Carroll again, even if we failed to get any pictures of him! The assembled weren't certain if it called for shorts, long sleeves or jackets and hats.
We celebrated Kim W. volunteering for her 25th time. She was asking questions about the volunteer t-shirt that Regina was sporting for that accomplishment so we expect to see her with one soon. Kimberly P. hoped her brand new leprechaun shoes would give her luck along the way and they propelled her forward.
Donlon led the pack to the finish but then grabbed the signs and cones from the course and accompaned tail walker Christopher on the last lap.
Ann combined parkrun with a longer run happy to have company for part of her journey.
Janet was pleased to finish in 30 minutes exactly meaning a course PB.
Lots of smiles along the way. Until next time look forward to seeing you at Moberly parkrun next time!

Run report #54

March 9 2019 brought warmer temps than we’ve seen in a long time, 38 degrees F with rains and high winds out of the ESE at 18mph. Don, Kim and Regina all braved the chilly, windy, wet weather to complete today’s parkun.

Wear your green next week for our March 16th parkrun as we celebrate St Patrick’s Day!
