Cancelled – Depot Park parkrun, 10/1/2022

Hi everyone,
Based on the current forecast of the path of Hurricane Ian, we are cancelling parkrun this Saturday. We do understand the storm may be clear by then, but all city facilities are closed through Monday. We will reschedule our 4th Anniversary celebration for later in the month.

Thank you for your understanding.
Please stay safe!

Depot Park Road Closures for 8/13

The roundabout at South Main Street and Depot Avenue near @depot.park has had a stormwater pipe failure. In order to make repairs, the roads leading to the roundabout will be closed to northbound and eastbound traffic from Monday, Aug. 8-Friday, Aug. 19.

Detours at the Depot Park roundabout:
> Northbound traffic on South Main Street will detour east onto SE 10th Ave.
> Eastbound traffic on Depot Avenue will first detour south onto S. Main St. and then east onto SE 10th Ave.
Please plan accordingly and give yourself some extra time if you travel this route.

Reminder: Depot Park parkrun will not be held next Saturday, June 18, due to the City of Gainesville’s Journey to Juneteenth Freedom Walk 5K. We hope to see many of you at this important event. More information: https://www.gainesvillefl.gov/Events-directory/Journey-to-Juneteenth-Freedom-Walk

If you’d like to volunteer on June 25 or after, drop us an e-mail at depotpark@parkrun.com. Also, we’d love to see you at 4th Ave Food Park for coffee or breakfast after parkrun! We meet there every week to process results and get to know each other.

Results Processing delayed

parkrun is really good at protecting volunteer information. As a run director, I can only send out emails to the volunteer team or all registrants through their special system. That is why everyone received the email to Beth, I have no ability to reach her directly.

Consequently, until I connect with her to have her post the data from scanning, I have no way to process the results from today's parkrun. This is entirely my fault, as I neglected to tell her this step when she volunteered. Again, if you are Beth Klein or know her, please call me at 352.226.9045.

I sincerely apologize to everyone for this delay.
