Depot Park parkrun 9/11/2021

Another parkrun is in the books! This week 36 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 8 were first timers and 7 recorded new Personal Bests. Well done to
Audrey, Dayare, David, Catherine, Ellie, Courtney and Frank! Special congratulations to our First Finishers Sarah, Audrey, Sam, Anne and John!
The temperature was 74° with a real feel of 79°! Humidity dropped a bit to 86%! Still felt very sticky though.
We have a new way to celebrate! If you make a Personal Best (PB) you can ring our new PB Cow Bell!!! It got wrung a few times today!

With many college teams having their first games this weekend, we'd like you all to come to parkrun showing off your team spirit. No matter if your team is local or back home, come decked out in your team's gear. Be as over the top as you want to go!

The temperature was 76° with a real feel of 83° and 90% humidity.
This week 69 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 21 were first timers (welcome PK Young!) and 13 recorded new Personal Bests. Congratulations to Stefan, Patrick, Dawson, Alexis, Daniel, Blake, Jennifer, David, Timothy, William, Danielle, Payton and John! Special congrats to our first five finishers: Jeff, William, Andrew, Stefan and UNKOWN! (Gues who didn’t bring their barcode!)
It was so great to have a good portion of the PK Young Cross Country team with us this morning! Thank you all for coming out!

Depot Park parkrun 7/3/2021

Most of us laid awake through the night wondering if the pouring rain would stop in time for Depot Park parkrun 83! It did!!!
It was 80° at the start with very high humidity, and a 62% chance of thunderstorms!
This week 43 people ran, jogged and walked the soggy course dodging puddles, of whom 10 were first timers and 7 recorded new Personal Bests. Brady Evans was our first finisher with a sub 20 minute time! Katherine Baumann was our first female finisher (with her 2 kids in a stroller!) Well done!!

No parkrun 6/19, come (not)parkrun at Juneteenth Freedom Walk!

This is a reminder that we will not be having parkrun this Saturday, June 19.

We were asked to cancel for the Juneteenth Freedom Walk, a FREE event at 7:00 am on 6/19. You are able to record a (not)parkrun for this event. I have posted the schedule of the Freedom Walk below.

To record a (not)parkrun, log into your parkrun profile at:, click the (not)parkrun tab, choose the date and enter your time. That's it! I will post the results with the following week's event report on Saturday.

The light is at the end of the tunnel! A potential restart timeline is in the works. I will be doing a facebook live event tonight at 6:00 pm. Tune in!
We had 4 participants in (not)parkrun this week, who completed 6 events! Anne Ray has the lead in total (not)parkruns at 51 - Amazing job!
I understand (not)parkruns will stay for the time being to accommodate those still not ready to participate in a full fledge event. Continue to log your times!

For those wondering about a parkrun restart, still no word. The grapevine does say there is a big meeting in late April. Hopefully we'll have some guidance soon. Hang in there! and keep moving!
