Four more days until parkrun is in our world again - for real!!!
Thank you to all those who completed (not)parkruns this week! We had 7 participants finish 11 events!
In the Battle Royale for most (not)parkruns, Anne Ray has pulled ahead with 56. But, Shauna Dixon is close on her heels at 55! Keep it up ladies!
For those not able to come to our IRL parkrun Saturday, not to worry! (not)parkruns will continue for the foreseeable future.
If you can come to our parkrun restart Saturday at 7:30 am, I will see you there!

Depot Park parkrun RETURNS 5/22!

We are so happy to announce that Depot Park parkrun will officially restart on May 22, at 7:30 am. (be sure to arrive a few minutes early)
This is our first in person event since postponing for the pandemic. We will have new procedures in place for the safety of our participants and volunteers.
Participants need to register one time at parkrun.us/register and print and bring with you a barcode that will be emailed to you. You must have a barcode to have your time counted.

The light is at the end of the tunnel! A potential restart timeline is in the works. I will be doing a facebook live event tonight at 6:00 pm. Tune in!
 
We had 4 participants in (not)parkrun this week, who completed 6 events! Anne Ray has the lead in total (not)parkruns at 51 - Amazing job!
 
I understand (not)parkruns will stay for the time being to accommodate those still not ready to participate in a full fledge event. Continue to log your times!

Another stellar week for (not)parkrun in Gainesville! We had 9 participants with 14 events overall! Nearly there for getting double digits for participants!

Woohoo! Well done everyone! We had our best (not)parkrun week yet, with 9 participants completing 14 events!

Kristen Bryant and Anne Ray are tied for the most (not)parkruns overall at 15! Keep up the good work! (Remember! You can record (not)parkrun times every day of the week, so it’s easy to catch up!)
This uptick in participation has moved us into the top 10 list for the US!!! Rec Plex North achieved the top spot for the 7th week in a row, but we’re catching up fast!

Depot Park parkrun Canceled

All parkrun events in the USA have been suspended with immediate effect due to the ongoing COVID-19 (Coronavirus) situation. At this stage we have cancelled events up to the end of March. Follow parkrun.com for further updates.

Thank you for your understanding & we will keep you posted when we will be up and “running" again!

Road Closure Update

We are looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow! We just received this updated information on the road closure by the park:

***Update on SE 4th Street Construction***

Follow the PINK paths to our Overflow Parking lot accessible from 100 SE 10th Ave.

We have been granted limited access via the GREEN path only into our smaller parking lot at 874 SE 4th Street. But you must turn left NORTHBOUND when exiting this lot.

Southeast Fourth Street will be open NORTHBOUND ONLY from Williston Road to Depot Avenue.

All lane and road closures are subject to change due to unforeseen conditions, such as inclement weather.
