Byxbee parkrun: The Sequel Despite this weekend being the Fall Equinox, Summer is refusing to leave the Bay Area, and this week's participants were greeted with another brilliant, sunny and crystal clear blue sky. With promise of a very warm day ahead, there was relief that Byxbee parkrun starts a little earlier at 8am.
Insect repellent was generously applied by everyone to ward off the monster mosquitoes and then 39 walkers, runners and joggers headed out onto the course, encouraged and supported by 11 volunteers. It was a much quieter event than last week's launch, but just as much fun.
Thinking of volunteering? We need help every week! It's a great way to meet new friends and experience parkrun in a whole new way. Check out the future roster and get in touch!
